Eligibility
Textile engineering is offered by many colleges and universities. The most favored method of admitting candidates for textile engineering is mostly through written engineering examinations. Candidates who wish to pursue their Bachelor of Technology in Textile Engineering should have completed their 10+2 with physics, chemistry, math, and/or biology. After completing the B. Tech or BE the candidate can go for an M. Tech or he or she can start a professional career. Candidates can also apply for a diploma in textile engineering. For a diploma, the candidates should pass their board exam or any other equivalent exams. Diploma holders have the advantage of getting admission into the second year of engineering in the same stream as their diploma.
