Eligibility
The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university can enroll themselves in an acting school for diploma courses. There are many acting schools where the minimum eligibility is 10+2 or any other equivalent examination. There are no definite age criteria but the preferred age is between 16 years to 35 years.

Candidates should have a passion for acting. They should be emotionally flexible and have a good sense of perspective. Candidates should also have the talent to extract subtexts from dramas and be eager to make improvisations in the stage or in front of the camera. They should also have a talent for histrionics. Above all, candidates should have the confidence and zest for acting and an innate grace. Aptitude for singing and dancing along with good diction and intonation are an added bonus. A good memory and high degree of imagination will always hold anyone pursuing acting in good stead.
